It has to be said that Scalextric are the forefathers of the slot car racing hobby. Since 1952, they have been creating a range of high quality Slot Cars (initially clock work) which were originally sold as toys, but have now become excellent examples of 1/32 scale model engineering.
Scalextric now have a truely global appeal, with the latest models appealing to fans of all motor racing genres, and now with the forthcoming Scalextric Moto GP motor bikes, due in 2004, Scalextric are destined to take Slot Car Racing to new heights.
